Kindergarten and pre-Kindergarten Phonics!

This program will offer instruction and practice in key elements for academic success in an environment that is fun!

Details:

• Ages: 5-6
• Sessions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
• Hours:   Mornings: 9:00-11:00  /  Afternoons: 12:30-2:30
• Limited enrollment to ensure personal attention
• Snack is provided

Content: All skills are measured to assure that children make rapid progress.

• Phonemic Awareness using the Essential Word Knowledge Skills modified for young learners.
• Haughton Learning Center writing and printing program to build proper grip and letter formation for writing numbers and letters.
• Phonics instruction through several excellent phonics programs, with practice throughout the day.
• Practice in comprehension through stories, games and engaging activities.
• Counting and sorting with blocks and other manipulatives.
• Plenty of active learning so each student becomes excited about the learning process.
