OUR MISSION

The Fluency Factory provides intensive instruction in all foundation academic skills for all ages. Using Precision Teaching charting to assure that learners progress at a rapid rate, we plan our efforts to greatly improve present level skills to meet the long term goals of our students and their families. 

 

Our founder, Richard McManus, has extensive experience training tutors to work with a diverse range of students. We are able to serve students who are even initially reluctant to attend, often to great success as they discover how successful they can be. 

 

Over the years, we have continuously grown our curricular materials and added powerful, research-proven tools. We are in the forefront of the current “Science of Reading” efforts, but we have been using Direct Instruction and Precision Teaching to plan and measure our students’ progress from  the beginning.
